I am 25 years old and currently employed as a full-time Customer Service Representative at the Kelowna Main Branch of HSBC Bank Canada. Prior to this job, I was an afternoon on-site manager, office clerk and customer service representative at Kelowna Self Storage and Uhaul dealership in beautiful Kelowna, B.C. from 2004 to 2007. Realizing that it wasn’t a full-time career coupled with a desire to pursue new career opportunities, I resigned after nearly three years. In my spare time I enjoy reading and writing about technology, politics, mergers and acquisitions, local issues, and general- or human-interest stories. Born at Kelowna General Hospital to two loving parents on May 6th, 1983, I was blessed with bright blue eyes, blonde hair (although, this has darkened considerably in my later adolescent years), and being right-handed. Today, I stand approximately 5′ 11″ tall, which is a bit surprising to me that I grew up to be so tall as I was always one of the shorter kids throughout school life when I was forced to kneel in the front row of class pictures, which was usually reserved for “runts”. My ancestral heritage is primarily Norwegian and Irish on Dad’s side of the family and mostly British on Mom’s.
My interests and favourite hobbies include, but are certainly not limited to, working, watching television, blogging, chatting with friends I’ve met online, doing e-mail, catching up on the latest in world events and business news both online and by reading local newspapers, pets such as my Dalmatian dog named Murphy who sadly passed away recently in April 2008 after more than 13 and a half glorious years, surfing the Internet, and writing.
